This week brings a rare and potent threshold: the Virgo Solar Eclipse New Moon on September 21st and the Autumnal Equinox on September 22nd. Their three-day windows overlap (Sept 20–22 for the eclipse/new moon and Sept 21–23 for the equinox), creating a portal of endings, beginnings, and balance. Equinox is the great balancer. Light and dark stand in perfect equilibrium, mirroring the need for balance in our own lives—between inner and outer, rest and action, giving and receiving. It’s the moment in Earth’s daily cycle that corresponds to dusk: the sun lowers, the air cools, and the body prepares for rest. This seasonal threshold invites us to:

• Celebrate and give thanks for what has come into being since spring.

• Release what no longer belongs, as trees let their leaves fall.

• Reflect on where balance is needed—whether in your health, your relationships, your work, or your prosperity.

• Attune to the rhythms of nature, preparing for the deeper descent into winter’s rest.

• Harvest your year so far. Reflect on the intentions you planted earlier this year. Which have ripened? Which are still growing? Which are complete? Write them down and acknowledge the season they are in.

• Create space for the next season. Release one physical area of clutter (a drawer, closet, altar, or workspace) with the conscious intention that clearing opens room for new energy.
